TDA7000 FM Radio Circuit - (AD8861)

Description:

The TDA7000 is a monolithic integrated circuit for mono portable FM radios, where a minimum of peripheral components is important (small dimensions and low cost). The IC has a Frequency-Locked Loop (FLL) system with an intermediate frequency of 70 KHz. Selectivity is obtained by active RC filters. The only function that needs alignment is the resonant circuit of the oscillator, therefore the selection of the reception frequency. Spurious signal reception is avoided by means of a muting circuit, which also eliminates excessively noisy input signals. Special precautions are taken to meet radiation requirements.
