This is a general-purpose electronic hook-up wire with a 20 AWG silver-plated copper conductor and a single layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) insulation. This wire is resistant to thermal aging, soldering iron damage, open flames, moisture, solvents, grease, ozone, and other chemicals. These wires, commonly used in high-temperature internal electronic applications, have low power loss and are ideal for high-frequency applications. This specification is currently known as NEMA HP3 Type E. Sold by the meter!
