Description:

This board is assembled with an ESP-WROOM-32 module and has the standard size and connectors of an UNO board. Please note that all I/O pins are 3.3V!

NOTE! DO NOT use it with 5V shields! It can permanently damage the board! Use only with 3.3V shields and modules.

The ESP-WROOM-32 (ESP-32S) is a WiFi and Bluetooth module that uses the popular ESPRESSIF ESP32 chip. The ESP32 chip integrates a dual-core processor with 448 KByte of ROM, 520 KByte of SRAM, 16 KByte of SRAM in RTC, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/e/I, Bluetooth v4.2 BR/EDR and BLE, clocks and timers, abundant peripheral interfaces, and security mechanism.

Software can be developed using many different platforms, including Arduino. It is designed for low-power generic IoT sensor hubs, loggers, video streaming for cameras, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled devices, home automation, and mesh networking applications, targeting manufacturers, hardware engineers, software engineers, and solution providers.

The ESP32 is the most integrated solution for Wi-Fi + Bluetooth applications in the industry with fewer than 10 external components. ESP32 integrates the antenna switch, RF balun, power amplifier, low-noise receive amplifier, filters, and power management modules. As such, the entire solution occupies minimal printed circuit board (PCB) area.
