Description:

The 74HC377; 74HCT377 is a positive-edge triggered octal D-type flip-flop. The device is characterized by clock (CP) and data enable (E) inputs. When E is low, the Qn outputs assume the state of their corresponding Dn inputs, which means they are set and held on the LOW-HIGH transition of the clock input (CP). The E input must be stable once the setup time before a LOW-HIGH transition for predictable operation. The inputs include clamping diodes that allow the use of current-limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages higher than VCC.
