2N6027 Unipolar Union Programmable Transistor - PUT - (AD7630)

Description:

Designed to enable the engineer to "program" unipolar junction characteristics such as RBB, η, IV, IP by simply selecting two resistance values. It is included in applications for thyristor triggering, oscillator, timing pulse, and circuits. These devices can also be used specifically for thyristor applications, due to the availability of an anode gate. Supplied in a low-cost A-92 plastic package for high-volume requirements, this package is easily adaptable for use in automatic insertion equipment.
