CD4094BE CMOS Shift Register - (AD7223)

Description:

The CD4094 is an 8-stage serial shift register with a storage latch associated with each stage for strobing data from a serial input to a 3-state buffered output. The parallel output can be directly connected to a common bus line. Data is shifted on positive clock transitions. Data from each shift register stage is transferred to the storage register when the STROBE input is high. Data in the storage register appears at the outputs whenever the ENABLE signal is high. Two serial outputs are available for cascading to a series of CD4094 devices. Data is available at the QS serial output terminal on the positive clock edge to allow high-speed operation in cascaded systems where the clock rise time is fast.
