32mm Yellow Arcade Button LED Light 12V - (AD68389)

Description:

A button is a button, and a switch is a switch, but these LED illuminated arcade buttons are in a class of their own. It is the same size as a "standard" 32mm arcade, but it has a built-in 12VDC LED that can be controlled separately from the switch action, either to indicate or just to look good.

The body is colored plastic and fits a lamp holder inside. These were originally designed for 'incandescent' lamps but are easy to use with an LED, simply wrap the legs around the holder as shown. It comes with a clear LED but, honestly, we suggest finding a diffuse LED to use instead, with wide illumination, as this small LED it includes doesn't fill the circle as well as it could.

The button comes with a normally open microswitch. Once you have placed the desired LED, simply press the microswitch. You can always remove it later to change the LED color. The microswitch is quite fast, so you will hear and feel it when it activates.
