Rotary Encoder - Illuminated (RGB) [COM-15141] - (AD68142)

Description:

Rotary encoders can be used similarly to potentiometers. The difference is that an encoder has a full rotation limit (it just goes around and around). They output a gray code so you can tell how far and in which direction the encoder has been turned. They're great for navigating menu screens and the like.

This encoder is especially cool because it has a built-in common-anode RGB LED, as well as a push button. This version has an updated heat-resistant material and slightly modified dimensions, but it should work well with our rotary encoder breakout board.
