Description:

If you like to keep your batteries in good condition, the XY-L30A charge controller offers a full set of features that you will surely love. This module supports lead-acid batteries, in a voltage range of 6V to 60V, it can display voltage, battery percentage, charging time, all at the same time via the LCD.

The function is very powerful, it performs automatic charge control, control charging time, and can also set and upload the corresponding parameter via the serial port.

Features:

- LCD screen

- Displays battery voltage

- Electricity percentage

- Adjustable time

- Working status indicator

- Supports UART set

- Automatic battery protection

- Control voltage: DC 6V-60V

- Control current: 30A (max)

- Control accuracy: 0.1V

- Output type: direct output

- Voltage error: 0.1V

- Suitable for battery: storage battery, lithium battery

- Physical dimension: 92*45*22mm

Functions:

- Automatic charge control function. By setting the upper limit voltage volt-HI: 'UP' and lower limit voltage volt-LI: 'DN', the relay turns on and the charger starts charging the battery when the current battery voltage is lower than the lower limit voltage 'dn', the relay turns off and completes an automatic charge when the current battery voltage is greater than the upper limit voltage 'UP'.

- Charge time control function. How to enable the time control function? You will enable the time control function by setting the parameter 'OP' not to be '0' after entering the parameter setting menu. The default parameter 'OP' is: '--:--h', the default value does not enable the time control function; after enabling the time control function ('OP' is not equal to '0'): The relay will turn on and the charger will start charging the battery and the system will start timing when the current battery voltage is lower than the lower limit voltage 'dn'. The relay will turn off and end charging if the current battery voltage is greater than the upper limit voltage 'UP' during the time. The relay will turn off and end charging if the current battery voltage is lower than the upper limit voltage 'UP' but the time ('OP') has expired. The relay will remain ON and charging if the current battery voltage is lower than the lower limit voltage 'dn' even if the time ('OP') has expired. The module will automatically turn off the charging time control function. And it will flash 'H:ER' on the display to remind users that the time parameter setting is not reasonable. Press any key to stop flashing.

Note: Time format: 00:59 (00 is hours, 59 is minutes) The maximum time is 99:59, which is approximately 100 hours.

- Parameter setting and UART communication. The system supports parameter setting functions and UART data upload (TTL level); UART: 115200, 8, 1, NO. Command function: 1. ON Relay Enable, 2. OFF Relay Disable, 3. Start data upload, 4. Stop data upload, 5. Read parameter settings, 6. dw 10.0 Set volts-LI: 'dn', 7. up 20.0 Set volts-HI: 'UP', 8. xx:xx Set charging time 'OP'. 00:00 is used to stop charging time. Data upload message format: Battery voltage + battery percentage + charging time + charging status; 12.0V, 020%, 00:10, OP. Set parameter:

- 1. LCD will display 'SET' after entering the parameter setting menu by long pressing the 'SET' button.

- 2. Change the set parameters by short pressing the 'SET' button.

- 3. Set the parameter value by long or short pressing the 'UP' and 'DOWN' buttons.

- 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 if you need to set other parameters.

- 5. Automatically save and exit the settings menu by long pressing the 'SET' button after setting all parameters.

Button description:

- Long press: Hold the button for more than 3 seconds. In the normal display interface:

- 1. Displays the currently set parameters when short pressing the 'SET' button;

- 2. Change the display charge percentage and charging time when short pressing the 'UP' button;

- 3. Enable the relay ON or OFF when short pressing the 'DOWN' button. The relay will turn OFF and OFF will be displayed if the relay is disabled.

- 4. Set the LCD backlight status (L-P) when long pressing the 'UP' button. OFF: The backlight will stay bright. ON: the backlight will automatically turn off after 5 to 10 seconds.

- 5. Long press the 'SET' button to enter the parameter setting menu.

- Voltage percentage calculation: voltage percentage = battery voltage / (volt-HI – volt-LI)

Additional features:

- Charging time recording function: the product will record a full charging time when charging time control is not on. Flashing displays the charging time when entering the time display interface. The data will be cleared when exiting the time display interface or the next charge turns on (the relay turns on)

- Automatic parameter detection: the system will flash 'ERR' to indicate the reminder when the parameter is set and exiting, but the lower limit voltage 'dn' is more than the upper limit voltage 'UP'.

- Battery connection detection: This product is connected to the battery. If the battery is not connected, the system will display 'nbE' on the bottom line to remind you.
