Description:

This is the LM317 Voltage Regulator, a three-terminal positive regulator with an adjustable output voltage from 1.2V to 37V. This adjustable regulator provides local on-card regulation, internal current limiting, thermal shutdown control, and safe-area protection for your project. Did we mention this guy is easy to use? It only requires two external resistors to set the output voltage. Each of these voltage regulators is capable of outputting a maximum current of 1A.
