B2K Dual Linear Rotary Potentiometer 2KΩ - (AD66640)

Description:

An adjustable potentiometer can open up many interesting user interfaces. With this rotary potentiometer, simply turn the dial and the resistance changes. This potentiometer has a 1/4" diameter, knurled metal shaft and pin terminals.

Connect VCC to one external pin, GND to the other, and the center pin will have a voltage that varies from 0 to VCC depending on the shaft rotation. Connect the center pin to an ADC on a microcontroller and get variable input from the user!
