6000mAh Lithium Ion Battery Pack - 3.7V - (AD6586)

Description:

Need a massive battery for your project? This Lithium-Ion pack consists of 3 balanced 2000mAh cells for a total capacity of 6000mA! The cells are connected in parallel and soldered to an overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent protection circuit.

Each cell can provide 2A of current (6000mA), so all cells together can provide a peak maximum current of over 13 amps. Please note that these batteries are not designed to sustain such high loads; it is suggested to keep any constant current draw under 6A.

The packs come with color-coded wires, and now come with a 2-pin JST cable for use with our chargers! The wires are designed for 2A so keep that in mind.

The included protection circuit maintains the battery voltage and prevents it from going too high (overcharging) or too low (over-discharging), meaning the battery will disconnect when it is completely dead at approximately 3.0V. However, even with this protection, it is very important that you only use a constant voltage LiIon/LiPoly charger to recharge them at a rate of 2A or less.

Like most Lithium-Ion packs, the batteries we sell do not have built-in thermistors. This is why we recommend charging at 1/2C or even less. 3A maximum in this case. Of course, you can charge at a lower rate - it will just take a little longer to fill it up.

Additional safety instructions: Do not use a NiMH/NiCd/lead-acid charger! Use a suitable 3.7/4.2V LiIon/LiPoly charger. Do not charge and forget. Also, do not abuse these batteries, do not short-circuit, crush, or puncture. As with all Lithium-Ion batteries and any power source - they should be used by experts who are comfortable working with power sources.
