Description:

This is a very small light sensor. A photocell changes its resistance (also called a photodetector, photoresistor, LDR, or photoconductive cell) depending on the amount of light it's exposed to. These tiny sensors are excellent ambient light triggers (when the room light is turned on, they do something).
