Magnetic Door Switch Set [COM-13247] - (AD5595)

Description:

This is a magnetic door switch, a small reed switch designed specifically to alert you when doors, drawers, or anything else opens. These types of switches are mostly used in home security systems. One half of the set is located on a window or door frame and the other is attached to the window or door itself. When the switch set separates from each other, the contact is broken and triggers an alarm.

When each magnetic piece is within 20mm of the other, the circuit with the reed switches is completed. Each switch set can accept a maximum voltage of up to 100V at 500mA. In addition, each set is housed in durable ABS plastic and, with the included screws, can be easily mounted to most surfaces.
