5mm to 6.35mm - Aluminum Flexible Shaft Coupler - (AD55135)

Description:

Connect this to that with a set screw coupler. These couplers are made of machined aluminum and have a spiral cut making them slightly flexible so they can conform to two shafts even if they are not perfectly co-linear and will help reduce binding effects. Due to the way they are cut, they are a little springy in the X Y and Z linear axis but not in the rotational axis. That means you won't get increased backlash, making them suitable for precision CNC work.

This coupler will connect a 5mm diameter shaft to another 6.35mm diameter shaft. A perfect complement to stepper motors. It comes with two sets of dual set screws (two per side) for secure fastening. You will need a 2mm Allen wrench to tighten/loosen the set screws.
