Description:

This is a very inexpensive infrared sensor, easy to mount and use, with a long detection distance and less interference from visible light. The modulated IR signal implementation makes this sensor immune to interference caused by normal light from a light bulb or sunlight. This sensor has an adjustment screw to set the appropriate detected distance to make it useful in many applications, and then provides a digital output when it detects something within that range. This sensor does not measure a distance value. It can be used in robots for collision avoidance and in machine automation.
