Description:
The MQ-9 Gas Sensor module is a highly sensitive semiconductor device capable of detecting carbon monoxide and combustible gas concentrations. When the sensor detects either of these signals, it will emit a variable analog signal depending on the gas concentration detected.
This module can detect concentrations from 10 to 1000 ppm and combustible gas from 100 to 10,000 ppm. The MQ-9 sensor consists of only three terminals: two for power and the third for an analog voltage output. You only need a microcontroller to read this signal and manipulate it according to your project's needs. It is compatible with any microcontroller, including Arduino. We recommend using a microcontroller. Arduino Uno , available in our online store if you'd like to purchase it.
The temperature at which the sensor should work optimally is from -10 to 50°C and its current consumption is around less than 150mA at 5V.
