MG996 [360º] Standard Size - High Torque - Metal Gear Servo - (AD50195)

Description:

This standard, high-torque servo now comes in a metal gear chassis, for extra-high torque (13 kg*cm) and reliability! It can rotate 360 degrees (continuous rotation) with a classic 1.5 - 2.5ms pulse train, but if you can extend your pulses, you can increase the speed - and it varies slightly from servo to servo. You can use any servo code, hardware, or library to control these servos. Good for beginners who want to move things without building a motor controller with feedback and a gearbox. Comes with several plastic accessories, as shown.

To control with an Arduino, we suggest connecting the orange control wire to pin 9 or 10 using the Servo library included in the Arduino IDE (see here for an example sketch).
