CCS811 - SparkFun Air Quality Breakout [SEN-14193] - (AD49967)

Description:

The CCS811 Air Quality Breakout is a digital gas sensor solution that detects a wide range of Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs) including carbon dioxide equivalent (eCO2) and metal oxide (MOX) levels. VOCs are often classified as pollutants and/or sensory irritants and can come from a variety of sources such as building materials (paint, carpet, etc.), machinery (copiers, food processors, etc.), and even people (breathing, smoking, etc.). This breakout is intended for indoor air quality monitoring on personal devices such as watches and phones, but we’ve put it on a breakout board so you can use it as a normal I2C device.

The integrated CCS811 supports multiple measurement modes optimized for low power consumption during active sensor measurements, and an idle mode that extends battery life in portable applications. We've outlined each necessary pin on the CCS811, including additional pins for adding your own NTC thermistor to determine the temperature of the CCS811's environment, which can be used to help compensate readings.

Note: Please note that the CCS811 datasheet recommends a 48 hour run time and a 20 minute run time (you must wait 20 minutes for the sensor to warm up and send valid data).
