Description:

Elegant display, 012345678 or 9! Watch, mesmerized, at ABCDEFGHIJKLM, well, it can show the whole alphabet. You get it. This is a beautiful and bright 16-segment alphanumeric display that can show letters and numbers in a beautiful red hue. It is super bright and designed for viewing from distances of up to 23 feet (7 meters) away.

These have a brightness of 10mcd. You can drive them with less current to get the same brightness to save power, or crank them up to 20mA and have them at their brightest. There are nine pins per side on these, so 18 pins total, with a 0.1" spacing so you can easily place it on a breadboard with one row on each side.

Note: You can refer to the datasheet below. It should be noted that this datasheet corresponds to the 0.5-inch common anode version. The version we offer is the 0.8-inch common cathode version. For pin configuration and electrical characteristics, it is valid.

Important: DO NOT exceed 1.8V per LED. See graphs on page 3 of the datasheet.
