The 40W electric solder suction pump, an excellent (and sometimes underappreciated) little tool for solder rework. It allows you to easily extract molten solder from a connection or via. To use it, simply press the plunger, heat the solder, place the nozzle over the solder you want to remove, and finally simply press the button. The plunger pops up, and the solder disappears!
This solder suction device has a black metal body with a hard plastic nozzle and buttons. It has the great advantage over other desoldering irons in that it has its own heating element. That's right... you don't need a soldering iron to melt the solder, just plug it into 110VAC and proceed to desolder.
