Description:

This is an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar charger for single-cell LiPo batteries. This MPPT solar charger gives you the ability to get the most possible power from your solar panel or other photovoltaic device and into a rechargeable LiPo battery. Setup is also easy, just plug your solar panel into one side of the solar charger and your battery into the other and you're ready to start charging!

Solar Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is to ensure that with changing light intensity, photovoltaic cells output maximum power, in order to make full use of solar energy. In general, it needs to use a switch-mode DC-DC converter to implement the MPPT function, keeping the output voltage and charging current product at the maximum (output).

The solar charger output is intended to charge a single lithium-ion polymer cell. The load should be connected in parallel with the battery. Each solar charger comes equipped with a CN3791 power tracking battery charge circuit and four pre-installed 2-pin JST/PH2.0 connectors.

By default, we have set the trickle charge voltage for MPPT. This is the 6V input voltage version (for 6V solar panel operating voltage), very suitable for applications where the input voltage and battery voltage difference is large.
