Description:
The AC Voltage Sensor is a module used to measure the phase voltage of an AC current. The AC voltage sensor is designed based on a transformer, so it can be used to measure AC voltage.
It is ideal for electrical energy monitoring applications, very common in home automation and IoT (Internet of Things) applications such as: Energy meters connected to the internet via Wifi/Bluetooth/GSM/LoRa. Due to the nature of transformers, it can only measure AC voltage. The ZMPT101B module solves the problem by reducing the input AC voltage to a lower amplitude AC voltage that can be read by the Arduino or any other microcontroller. It is recommended to calibrate the output with a voltmeter BEFORE connecting any device to the output.
