Particle Boron LTE IoT Development Kit [KIT-15072] - (AD43483)

Description:

The Particle Boron is an LTE CAT-M1/NB1 enabled development board that provides mesh networking with cellular service. Featuring the Nordic nRF52840 SoC and two SARA cellular modules, you get all the power of an ARM Cortex M4 with OpenThread mesh networking, LTE cellular connectivity, NFC, numerous GPIOs, LiPo charging, and more. The board is designed to act as either a standalone cellular endpoint or as an LTE enabled gateway for a Particle Mesh network.

This Particle LTE IoT development kit includes the Boron LTE development board, a breadboard, a flexible cellular antenna, and a USB cable. The initial project includes two 220Ω resistors, one red LED, and one photodiode.

The Boron is also configured in the popular Feather form factor, so it is compatible with Feather Shields. It includes a JST connector for a LiPo battery and allows for USB battery charging. Particle also provides an RGB status LED, JTAG (SWD) connector for debugging, and an integrated PCB antenna for your mesh network. You will need to connect a cellular antenna to the U.FL connector to use the cellular connectivity.

The Boron includes access to the Device Cloud (10 free micro-networks available), as well as three free months of Device Cloud access via a cellular gateway. The Particle Cloud has great features for developing connected projects, including over-the-air firmware updates, an easy-to-use REST API, and firmware development compatible with web and local IDEs.
