Description:
pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a solution; the pH scale ranges from 0 to 14. pH indicates the concentration of hydrogen ions [H]+ present in certain solutions. It can be accurately quantified using a sensor that measures the potential difference between two electrodes: a reference electrode (silver/silver chloride) and a glass electrode that is sensitive to hydrogen ions. This is what forms the probe. In addition, an electronic circuit must be used to properly condition the signal so that we can use this sensor with a microcontroller, such as an Arduino.
This analog pH meter is specifically designed to measure the pH of a solution and reflect its acidity or alkalinity. It is commonly used in various applications, such as aquaponics, aquaculture, and environmental water testing.
The built-in voltage regulator chip supports a wide voltage supply of 3.3-5.5V, which is compatible with the main control panel's 5V and 3.3V outputs. The hardware-filtered output signal has low jitter. The software library adopts a two-point calibration method and can automatically identify two standard buffer solutions (4.0 and 7.0), providing a simple and convenient way to operate the device.
With this product, the main control board (such as Arduino) and the software library, you can quickly build the pH meter, plug and play, without soldering. pH is a value that measures the acidity or alkalinity of the solution. It is also called the hydrogen ion concentration index. pH is a scale of the activity of hydrogen ions in solution. pH has a wide range of uses in medicine, chemistry, and agriculture. Typically, pH is a number between 0 and 14. Under thermodynamic standard conditions, pH = 7 means the solution is neutral; pH < 7 means the solution is acidic; pH > 7 means the solution is alkaline.
