2N2646 Unijunction Transistor [UJT] 30V @ 50mA - (AD41899)

Description:

Silicon planar unijunction transistors have a structure that results in lower saturation voltage, peak-point current, and valley-point current, as well as a much higher base-one peak pulse voltage. In addition, these devices are much faster switches.

The 2N2646 is designed for general purpose industrial applications where circuit economy is important and is ideal for silicon controlled rectifier trigger circuits and other applications requiring a guaranteed minimum pulse amplitude. The 2N2647 is designed for applications requiring low emitter leakage current and low emitter peak point current (trigger current), as well as for triggering high power SCRs.
