Description:

The MC33153 is specifically designed as an IGBT driver for high power applications, such as AC induction motor control, brushless DC motor control, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Although designed to drive discrete and modular IGBTs, this device offers a cost effective solution for driving power MOSFETs and bipolar transistors. Device protection functions include the option of desaturation or over current sensing, as well as undervoltage lockout. These devices are available in dual-in-line and surface mount packages.
