Description:

This is a small force-sensitive resistor. It has an active sensing area of 4mm in diameter. This Interlink Electronics FSR will vary its resistance depending on the amount of pressure applied to the sensing area. The more force, the less resistance. When no pressure is applied to the FSR, its resistance will be greater than 1MΩ, with full pressure applied the resistance will be 2.5kΩ.

Two pins extend from the bottom of the sensor, with 2.54mm pin spacing, to make it breadboard-friendly.
 
These sensors are easy to set up and great for detecting pressure, but they are not very precise. Use them to detect if something is being pressed, but you might not want to use it as a scale.
