Description:

This is a small force-sensitive resistor. It has an active sensing area of 4 mm in diameter. This Interlink Electronics FSR will vary its resistance depending on the amount of pressure applied to the sensing area. The greater the force, the lower the resistance. When no pressure is applied to the FSR, its resistance will be greater than 1 MΩ; with full pressure applied, the resistance will be 2.5 kΩ.

Two pins extend from the bottom of the sensor with 2.54mm pin spacing, making it breadboard friendly.
These sensors are easy to set up and great for detecting pressure, but they aren't very accurate. Use them to detect if you're getting low, but you might not want to use them as a scale.
