Tilt Sensor Module Breakout - (AD38993)

Description:

This basic tilt switch can be easily used to detect orientation. Inside the can is a ball that makes contact with the pins when the box is upright. Tilt the card and the ball won't touch the pins, so it won't connect.

There are numerous uses for these basic sensors, but be aware that you may need to use some debounce code, as the sensor is not immune to small vibrations and the like.
