HN3806-AB-600N Incremental Rotary Encoder 600 P/R (Quadrature) - (AD38348)

Description:

This 600 pulses per rotation rotary encoder generates a gray code that you can interpret using a microcontroller to find out which direction and how much the shaft is turning. This allows you to add feedback to motor control systems. Encoders of this type are often used in balancing robots and dead reckoning navigation, but could also be used as a very precise input knob. The encoder comes with a set screw coupler that will attach to any 6mm shaft.

Note: The datasheet has model HN3806-AB-400, but you can use it as a reference for this encoder; the difference is in the pulses per revolution.
