Description:
This NTC thermistor module features an NTC temperature sensor that provides digital and analog outputs, allowing you to easily add over- and under-temperature detection capabilities to your new project. It can be used with or without an Arduino. You essentially don't need an Arduino. The temperature detection threshold can be adjusted using a potentiometer.
It uses an LM393-based voltage comparator chip that features a clean, stable digital output signal and a 15 mA drive capability. The DO output can be connected directly to the digital pin of the microcontroller/Arduino, and produces a high or low voltage depending on the ambient temperature changes. Similarly, the A0 pin can be connected to the Arduino's analog pin and perform temperature calculations or other analog sensor-related functions.
The DO output can be used directly to control a relay module or as a thermostat switch to control external equipment, such as a cooling fan.
Characteristics:
- LM393 voltage comparator
- Mounting hole for easy installation
- Adjustable threshold by potentiometer
- Working voltage: 3.3 V to 5 V
- Output current: 15 mA
- Output type: Digital (HIGH OR LOW) and Analog
- PCB Size: 32 x 14 mm
