Description:

The NTE5621 through NTE5627 series TRIACs are designed primarily for full-wave AC control applications, such as light dimmers, motor control, heater control, and power supplies; or wherever solid-state, full-wave, gate-controlled silicon devices are needed. TRIAC type thyristors switch from a blocking state to a conducting state for either polarity of applied anode voltage with positive or negative gate triggering.
