Description:

This SD card shield is compatible with Arduino development boards with the standard Arduino connector layout. It can be plugged directly into an Arduino UNO, Leonardo, MEGA2560 or compatible mainboard, and by adding an SD card, adds a large storage space to your Arduino project.

The shield is also compatible with the standard Arduino SD card libraries that come with the Arduino development environment, allowing you to create sketches to read and write data to your SD card. Additionally, it has the advantage of being a module, as it requires no additional wiring — simply plug it into your Arduino board and you're good to go.

Features:

  • Standard Arduino expansion board interface, compatible with Arduino UNO, Leonardo, Mega2560, and compatible mainboards.
  • Onboard level shifters allow safe connection to both 5V and 3.3V logic levels.
  • The communication interface is a standard SPI interface, only compatible with SD/TF cards in SPI mode.
  • Supports SD/SDHC or Micro SD/Micro SDHC cards with an SD adapter.
  • The power supply is 4.5V ~ 5.5V, and the voltage regulator circuit board is 3.3V.
  • SPI interface: MOSI, MISO, and SCK pins. These three signals are derived from the Arduino ICSP interface, making it compatible with various Arduino boards.
  • Regulator circuit: 3.3V LDO regulator output.
  • Chip select pin: The CS pin is connected to the digital pin D4 of the Arduino board.
