Force Sensitive Resistor 0.5" [SEN-09375] - (AD3447)

Description:

This is a circular, 0.5" diameter, force-sensing resistor (FSR); this FSR will vary its resistance depending on how much pressure is applied to its sensing area. The greater the force, the lower the resistance. When no pressure is applied to the FSR, its resistance will be greater than 1MΩ. This FSR can detect force applied anywhere in the range of 100g - 10kg.

Two pins extend from the bottom of the sensor with 0.1" spacing so that it can be used on a breadboard. There is a peel-and-stick rubber backing on the other side of the sensing area for mounting the FSR.
