Photon Micro OLED Shield SparkFun [DEV-13628] - (AD33727)

Description:

The SparkFun Photon Micro OLED Shield features a tiny blue-on-black monochrome OLED for use with your Photon module. It's "micro," but it still packs a punch — the OLED display is crisp and supports a surprisingly large amount of graphics. This shield is perfect for adding graphics to your Photon, displaying diagnostic information without needing serial output, and teaching a little game theory.

Speaking of that, the display on this breakout is only 64 pixels wide and 48 pixels tall, measuring 0.66". All in all, the Micro OLED Shield provides access to 16 pins of the OLED. Fortunately, you will only need half of them to get the display up and running. The SparkFun Photon Micro OLED Shield comes with headers already soldered on, so you can just plug it in and get going!

The Particle Photon is a tiny Wi-Fi development kit for creating connected projects and products. Featuring a 120MHz ARM Cortex M3 and an integrated Wi-Fi module, the Photon is not only powerful, but easy to use. Its small footprint is ideal for IoT projects with cloud connectivity.

Note: Not only does this shield work with the Photon, but it also works with the Particle Core. We know a lot of you haven’t been able to get your hands on a Photon yet and would like to start experimenting with it. If that person is you, we hope... we’ve delivered!
