No development board is complete without a prototyping area, and the SparkFun Photon ProtoShield takes care of just that! This ProtoShield easily mates to your Photon module and provides a small soldering area, as well as separate power and I₂C hookups. With the SparkFun Photon ProtoShield, you are in control of what kind of project you design for your Photon.

The Particle Photon is a tiny Wi-Fi development kit for creating connected projects and products. Featuring a 120MHz ARM Cortex M3 and an integrated Wi-Fi module, the Photon is not only powerful, but easy to use. Its small footprint is great for IoT projects with cloud connectivity.

Note: Not only does this shield work with the Photon, it also works with the Particle Core! We know many of you have yet to get your hands on a Photon and would like to start experimenting with it. If that is the case, we hope we’ve helped!
