5mm to 5mm - Aluminum Flex Shaft Coupler - (AD33447)

Description:

Connect this to that with a set screw coupler. These couplers are made of machined aluminum and have a spiral cut making them slightly flexible so they can mate two shafts even if they are not perfectly co-linear and will help reduce binding effects. By the way they are cut, they are a little springy in the linear X Y and Z axis but not the rotational axis. That means you won't get increased backlash so they are suitable for precision CNC work.

This coupler will connect a 6.35mm diameter shaft to another 6.35mm diameter shaft. A perfect match for stepper motors. It comes with two sets of double set screws (two per side) for secure fastening. You will need a 2mm Allen wrench to tighten/loosen the set screws.
