Description:
This 120W, 10-32V to 35-60V DC-DC boost converter module allows you to boost the input voltage from as little as 10V and adjust the output to 35-60V. The output voltage will be higher than the input voltage.
The boost converter design is based on Texas Instruments’ popular UC3844 current-mode PWM controller chip.
Applications
- Power a laptop from a 12V DC car battery. (Laptops typically require 17V – 18V DC).
- Running communication equipment on a single 12V lead-acid battery, rated to run between 24V – 35V.
- Running higher voltage (24V – 35V) DC motors used in robots with 12V batteries.

Warnings
- DO NOT current limit, do not overload!
- Max ratings should NEVER be continuous from the load; otherwise, the module will be damaged.
- Make sure to install the correct circuit protection such as fuses at the input of the module to prevent over-current and the possibility of fire.
- Enhance heat dissipation above 50 W.
- Failure to observe these precautions and improperly using this module may result in damage, fire, or personal injury.
