Description:

This is a magnetic door switch, a small reed switch designed, for example, to signal when doors, drawers, or anything else opens. These types of switches are mainly used in home security systems. One half of the set is placed on a window or door frame and the other is attached to the window or door itself. When the switch set is separated from each other, the contact is broken, and an alarm is triggered.

When one magnetic piece is within 20mm of the other, the circuit with the reed switches is completed. Each switch can accept a maximum voltage of up to 100V at 500mA. Additionally, it is housed in durable ABS plastic and, with a pair of screws (not included), can be easily mounted to most surfaces.
