SparkFun Piezo Vibration Sensor - Large [SEN-09196] - (AD3008)

Description:

This is a basic piezo-electric sensor of special dimensions that is often used for flex, touch, vibration, and impact measurements. A small AC component and a large voltage (up to +/-90V) are created when the membrane moves back and forth. A simple resistor should suffice to drop the voltage to ADC levels. It can also be used for impact sensing or as a flex switch.
