This is the SparkFun Rotary Switch Breakout, a very simple board designed to make it easier to access each pin of our 10-position rotary switches. This board allows you to easily add a rotary switch to your next project without worrying about adapting its footprint to a custom board or a solderless breadboard. Simply solder the 10-position rotary switch to the breakout board (following the board's silkscreen as a guide) and each pin will be available for connection to a breadboard or wire.
Each of these boards breaks out the common (C), 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 positions to 0.1" spaced pins.
