Description:

The MC34018 is a speakerphone integrated circuit that incorporates the necessary amplifiers, attenuators, and control functions to produce high quality in a hands-free speakerphone system. Integrated are: a microphone amplifier, an audio power amplifier for the speaker, transmit and receive attenuators, a monitoring system for background sound level, and an attenuation control system that responds to transmit and receive levels as well as a background level. It also includes all regulated voltages necessary for internal and external circuitry (no additional sources required).
