The USGlobalSat EM-506 GPS Receiver is based on the spectacular SiRF StarIII chipset. This complete module uses the same technology as the ET-301, but includes integrated voltage regulation, LED status indicator, battery-backed RAM, and an integrated patch antenna. Includes 6-pin interface cable.

This SiRF Star IV powered EM-506 GPS module offers superior sensitivity and performance even in urban environments with tall buildings and dense foliage. Thanks to SiRF CGEE (Client Generated Extended Ephemeris) technology, it predicts satellite positions for up to 3 days in advance and delivers a CGEE start time of less than 15 seconds under most conditions, with no network connection required.
