Description:

The DHT11 sensor is capable of performing temperature and relative humidity measurements at a very affordable cost. The sensor features a proprietary serial interface, requiring only a single pin to communicate with a microcontroller.

This sensor, although somewhat slow and not very accurate, is ideal when cost is a concern, making it ideal for school and hobby applications.
