uFL SMT Antenna Connector - (AD18290)

Description:

uFL connectors are very small surface mount parts that are used when you want an external RF antenna but a large, bulky SMA connector takes up too much space. We use this part on our GPS and WiFi boards, and they're great! Most likely, your antenna won't use uFL as its main connector, in which case you should check out our uFL to SMA and uFL to RP-SMA adapter cables. These are also panel-mountable for a nice finished look. These are surface mount, but they aren't too difficult to solder – just be careful that the part is symmetrical, but only one of the end pads connects to the antenna pin!
