Description:

These are very small rare earth magnets - 10 x 5mm discs. Composed of Neodymium / Iron / Boron (NdFeB), these magnets are surprisingly strong and are an excellent way to connect tools to a metal workbench, keep small children's toys attached to the refrigerator, and as a trigger for reed switches.

It activates the reed switch at a distance of approximately 1 cm.
