Description:

Embedded antenna for small, mobile applications. Basic unpackaged antenna with LNA. 5-inch cable terminated with standard male SMA connector. Compatible with any SMA interface cable to create a truly small GPS prototype!

This unit works great out of the box, but fully packaged antennas have less voltage drop in the SMA cable than what is found with the antenna's cover. If you plan to use this antenna in a vibration-intensive application, it is recommended to reinforce the connection with epoxy.
