Need a big battery for your project? This 2200mAh lithium-ion battery contains a safety circuit that controls over-voltage, under-voltage, and over-current. Still, it's thin and easy to fit into many project cases.

This cell can provide 2C peak current (4400mA). Please note that these batteries are not designed to sustain high loads; it is suggested to keep any constant current draw below approximately 0.5C (1 Amp).

The battery comes with color-coded wires, but to use with our chargers you will probably want to connect a 2-pin JST cable (included!). Because they have a genuine JST connector, do not pull hard on the wire; the wire hooks into or unhooks from a JST connector, so disconnect or connect gently. The wires are rated for 2A, so if you use them, keep that in mind.

The included protection circuit maintains the battery voltage, preventing it from going too high (overcharge) or too low (overuse), meaning the battery disconnects when it's completely dead at 2.5V. However, even with this protection, it is very important that you only use a constant voltage, a constant current Li-Ion / LiPoly charger to recharge them, and at a rate of 0.5C (1 Amp) or less.
