This USB connector also allows you to connect to the Raspberry Pi via serial port, thus eliminating the need for a monitor and keyboard for setup. To power only the servo power line (and not the Raspberry Pi's 5V power line), simply remove a small blob of solder from the isolation jumper. This allows for controlling heavier loads from multiple or larger servo motors.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach of the 16 servo connectors on this HAT is properly spaced to facilitate servo connection. The pins are arranged in the correct order for most hobby servo connectors.
